Our American Style Bullwhips start with an 8” steel spike handle foundation and are balanced to crack effortlessly, with 2 Kangaroo hide Plaited Bellies and Kip hide Bolsters and Core, with a 12 or 16 Plait Kangaroo overlay. Our American Bullwhips are thicker and heavier than our Traditional Australian Style Bullwhips but will make it easier to get a loud crack out of it with little effort.
Bullwhips are measured from the butt Knot to the end of the plaited thong (not including the fall and cracker). So, a 6ft bullwhip from tip to tip will measure closer to 9ft long. Contact us if you would like a shorter or longer handle. Bullwhips are available from 4 foot to 12 foot lengths and are available in 12 or 16 Plait. The American Style Bullwhip comes standard with a wrist loop. Contact us about higher plait counts and other Custom options.
